- PROJECT INFORMATION: Yeniköprü-Yüksekova Road Construction Project has been designed to link the Van-Hakkari State Highway (975-10), one of Türkiye's critically located road axes, to the Yüksekova District. Within the scope of the project, bridges Çığlı (KM: 0+000 - 0+161 ), Dilektaşı-1 (KM 8+425 - 8+707) and Dilektaşı-2 (KM 13+587 - 13+815) have been built on the Yeniköprü-Yüksekova Road. T-1 Tunnel (dual tube, 3965 m) has been completed to bypass this road section facing high risk of landslides and the travel distance shortened by 7 km. Completion of the Yüksekova ringroad (KM: 0+000-7+257) allowed transit (uninterrupted) passage to the Dağlıca-Şemdinli road, also contributing significantly to reduce the heavy vehicle load along Yüksekova city crossing.
