- PROJECT INFORMATION: The Bitlis Creek Crossing on the Bitlis-Baykan Road providing North-South access to and from the city is 900 m in addition to the 2.1 km access roads (Project Total: 3 km). The steel-orthotropic Bitlis Creek Viaduct is built by incremental launch methodology (first use of the method, inclination %3.82). The viaduct was designed by Turkish engineers, using only domestic products, where the incremental launch steel-orthotropic box section construct was used for the first time globally.
