- PROJECT INFORMATION: The project is part of the rail corridor linking Southeast Anatolia to Mediterranean and western ports. The project seeks to improve the cargo as well as passenger potential along the East-West corridor and to improve travel standards along East-West and North-South corridors. Extending over 303 km between Mersin and Gaziantep, the project is one of total of 6 high-speed rail projects, which consists of building of main tunnels (9839 m), cut and covers (2616 m) as well as safety/escape tunnels (2649 m).
